Andrea Cefalo - Singer/songwriter
Andrea Cefalo started her professional singing career in alternative rock bands and avant-garde ensembles. She once was hired to spontaneously improvise Hafiz poems into song in the late 1990's and in 2003 co-wrote a production for Cincinnati's Playhouse In the Park's Alter-active Series that was also inspired by the poems of Hafiz. She is active in the Cincinnati jazz scene and can be found singing in local clubs there with her quartet regularly. Andrea also works in early childhood as a program coordinator at the Arlitt Child and Family Research and Education Center at the University of Cincinnati.
